Octopus and Cuttlefish are believed to be among the most intelligent of the sea's creatures. Both are masters of disguise exhibiting the ability to change color to camouflage themselves and to emphasize behavior. While related they are habits and food sources are quite different. Octopus feed mainly on mollusks while Cuttlefish feed mostly on small reef fish. Scorpionfish encompass a large group of related species. All have large mouths and are ambush predators, looking like a part of the reef and ready to inhale any smaller fish which unwittingly swims within its reach. |
